Hi, I agree that the current model is not so great. ITRW there were more checks and balances that figured in to just how much Japan could press in China. In game not so much. Though JAP really never extracts all that much value from CHI economically. What does pay off is that JAP gets the Partial Mo...

Hi, The difference here is that Japan has somewhat of a history in China. And the Chinese have a history of non-representative bad government. Plus there is a bit more cultural similarity, even though both would tend to think the other is lacking. So there are a lot of locals willing to "work w...

Hi,

I don't see this as real world viable. We don't need things that make it easier for JAP to occupy locations like AST. This should be veryhard to do as there wouldn't be any base of colaborators.

FRA_10_3;AM 39 P

FRA_10_5;EBR 75

Hi, Ah, well I did say "...there are a few special cases like GER where projected models get used." This is one of those special cases where the AM40 was indeed ordered but the production never happened d2 the fall of France. IMO it is on the same order as the Alsace-class BB or some of th...

Hi, In exactly what way do you think I'm being inconsistent? If you mean year dating I think the AM40 is a significantly better vehicle than the R40 vis a vis the competition. The fact that it was developed into the EBR in the 50's says a lot for the basic design. This is my reference for the machin...

Hi, AC: I realize there is a historical gap here. My contention is that if France had not been defeated in 1940 some sort of follow on vehicle like the AM 40 would probablly have been put into production in the 1944 timeframe. LT: While the R40 is indeed better than the R35 it is not anywhere as goo...

Hi,

I will try and get to this stuff shortly. Though you may have to remind me again. I'm pretty tapped out for time right now.

Hi, TY for checking on the Sleep/Wake effectiveness. At least it works with no major hitches. As for the DFR I still don't think there is a consensus that it should in fact get formed any time soon after a defeat of GER. While it is a historical creation it certainly was not something that was envis...
